Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's Trial Begins Thursday

(Rockford, Illinois) Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's Federal corruption trial begins Thursday. It is expected to generate nationwide attention, and may harm Illinois' political reputation even further.
To find out what impact the trial could have on the state, WTVO talked with both republican and democratic leaders in the area. Republican State Rep. Jim Sacia and former Democratic Mayor of Rockford John McNamara were both were outspoken about the former governor but believe Illinois can recover.
