Chicago - Closing arguments were heard today in the corruption trial of Rod Blagojevich.
The prosecution went first and discussed witness testimony and taped recordings. Prosecutors say the case against Blagojevich is simple, the Governor of Illinois can not take bribes. Their best example was when Blagojevich tried to sell President Obama's vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder.
The defense started its closing arguments but will finish tomorrow. They argue the government's case didn't prove beyond reasonable doubt that Blagojevich is guilty.
Stay with WTVO Channel 17 as we'll have the latest on Blagojevich's corruption trial. We'll break into programming, when needed, with any major developments.
