"They bring the paper in, throw it on the conveyor belt, shred it and it gets bailed,” says Graceffa.
Companies will place grey bins in their office. Employees can place their confidential papers in the bins, hen they end up at Graceffa’s business.
"This big bale of paper will get turned into pulp and every bit of information will get wiped out,” says Graceffa.
The collection and recycling of paper just makes sense. What you write on today, ill get recycled for reuse tomorrow.
Almost any paper can be recycled including used newspapers, cardboard, packaging, stationery, mail, magazines, catalogs, greeting cards and wrapping paper. Graceffa says everyone can do their part.
"We are green,” says Graceffa. “Everything we do is green. Green is different to every company. Whether it's cutting down on fuel, turning off lights, turning the heat down, that's green."
Each day American businesses generate enough paper to circle the globe at least 40 times. 77% of paper waste generated in offices is recyclable.
