Sachelle Saunders joined the WTVO News Team in October 2010 as a Reporter.
She received her Bachelors Degree from Columbia College Chicago, where she graduated with honors.
Prior to working for WTVO/WQRF, Sachelle interned with the award winning health-team at NBC 5 in Chicago and WIFR in Rockford. She was also an Anchor/Reporter for MetroMinutes, a weekly television news show.
Sachelle was born and raised in Rockford. She graduated from Auburn High School and sings every Sunday on her church's praise team.
Sachelle and her husband have a young daughter who doesn't allow any "spare time" so each day is spent enjoying her.
Sachelle is excited to be home and is passionate about reporting on stories that her community cares about.
