Peter Fleischer - Sports Reporter / Weekend Sports Anchor

Peter Fleischer joined the WTVO/WQRF sports department in January, 2012. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Sociology minor from the University of Missouri in 2011. Peter worked for the mid-Missouri NBC affiliate as a sports reporter/anchor and a live news reporter during his last two years in school.

Peter worked for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009 in the Creative Services Department. He performed a variety of duties and provided video and written content to Chiefs fans via the team's website and NFL Network. He also worked as a production assistant at ESPN in 2010, editing highlights for Sportscenter and Baseball Tonight. Peter enjoys the video aspect of journalism, but has also written for numerous sports websites, including The New York Times Quad Blog and SB Nation.

Peter enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his parents and three siblings. Growing up his entire life in St. Louis has led him to become a die-hard fan of all the teams from that area, as well as his alma mater's Mizzou Tiger athletic program. Outside of sports, Peter also enjoys working out and staying active, listening to music, reading and playing basketball.
