ROCKFORD - Many people in
"We continue to be
the company that takes care of all of the wires, the transformers, the physical
aspects of delivering the electricity," said Paul Callighan, spokesperson for
ComEd.
"The only thing that will change is the name of the energy provider on your
bill, which will reflect the appropriate provider from the town that's done the
aggregation."
Callighan says the
new rates probably won't be reflected in your next month's bill, but rather
will take effect during the next billing period.
If you want to opt out of the city's electrical aggregation program and you
received this letter, you still have time to opt out. You need to call the new supplier, First
Energy Solutions, at (800) 977-0500.
