WLUV Celebrates 50 Years in the Stateline

WLUV celebrates its
fiftieth anniversary. Dozens of bands performed for crowds and received live
exposure on the air from 1 P.M.-5 PM. WLUV features classic country, gospel and
blue grass.
Owner Joe Salvie
said nearly three hundred people took part in the celebration. WLUV will hold
the picnic again next year if any bands are interested in performing organizers
suggest calling the radio station.
