Two People Shot Dead at Sycamore Hospital

SYCAMORE - Police are looking into the deaths of two people shot dead at Kindred Hospital on Tuesday evening.
Police responded to a call from the hospital around 6pm. A male patient and a woman who was visiting him both died of gunshot wounds.
Sycamore Police Chief Don Thomas told the Daily Chronicle that the two victims had a romantic relationship. A gun was found at the scene. Police say there is no shooter at large, leading to speculation that the crime was a murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
