Fundraising Efforts Continue for 9/11 Memorial Site in Winnebago County

September 11, 2012 (WINNEBAGO) -- Over $150,000 dollars has been raised through fundraisers-- a far cry from the $900,000 dollars needed to get the Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Memorial built
Project leaders say the memorial will secure an endowment for the future.
If enough funds are raised then visitors can expect to see the project complete by September 11, 2016.
