Rockford, Illinois-NIU's football team will get another shot at a team from a BCS Conference this Saturday. The Huskies will host Kansas of the Big 12.
The JayHawks are coached by former Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weis. In a conference call Monday Weis said one of the Jayhawks' top concerns against NIU will be containing quarterback Jordan Lynch. Lynch had another long touchdown run last Saturday against Army that covered 88 yards.
"The problem is that he's running the ball so effectively in the read option that everyone is trying to load up the box against him which opens up opportunities for big chunks in the passing game," said Weis. "So I think you really have to pick your poison there."
