Rockford - Police give the all clear after placing a pair of high schools on soft lockdown.
Students at Auburn and Jefferson high schools are safe after reports a student brought a gun to school.
An investigation turned up nothing.
The lockdown was called in around 11am. It was lifted an hour later.
