Poverty Up Across The State

Poverty is on the rise in Illinois.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 2,000,000 people are living below the poverty line, that's 150,000 more than in 2010.
Economic experts say it's not because the unemployment rate is up, but rather workers are earning smaller paychecks.
