The Bain worker bus
rolled trough Freeport
today stopping at the Stephenson county fairgrounds. Meanwhile, employees are
camping outside Freeport's
Sensata plant until Romney addresses their concerns.
The national bus
tour kicked off with a rally in Saint
Louis, MO Friday. The
Bain worker bus tour is sponsored by the 99% movement, a coalition of
organizations that advocate for economic policies benefitting working Americans.
Protest organizers say they are sick of seeing jobs shipped overseas.
Sensata Employee
Tomm Gaulrapp said "mitt Romney not only started the company, he invented
their business model which is outsourcing good American manufacturing
jobs."
The bus will visit
several more states including a stop in Janesville
on Sunday. The tour will end with a day of action in Boston, MA
where both Romney's campaign and Bain capital are headquartered.
