Boone County Disaster Expo Is Back For More

The Boone County Disaster Expo is back for a third year at
the Boone County Fairgrounds. The popular event showcases all that the county
emergency response teams have to offer. Demonstrations ranged from what to do
in an anthrax attack, to helicopter shows and even simulated emergency vehicle
extrication. Deputy police chief Butch Falkenstein says the expo gives the
public a chance to see things they've never see before.
