New Policies could attract Food Vendors Downtown Rockford

The city voted to finalize the 2012 merchant vending guidelines. A new permit process and policies will be established. Sidewalk cafe's and food trucks are now encouraged to sell downtown. New areas are being developed to make space for food vendors. The city's overall goal is to create a walking-friendly downtown area and attract more business.
