Colts Sign Palmer 9/24/12

Rockford, Illinois-Former NIU receiver Nathan Palmer is being reunited with his former NIU quarterback Chandler Harnish. Palmer has been signed off the 49ers practice squad by the Colts. Harnish is the Colts third string quarterback.
Last season at NIU Palmer caught 47 passes from Harnish for 695 yards. Harnish was the last player selected in the draft last April by the Colts. Palmer was undrafted. He was signed as a free agent by the 49ers.
Both players are natives of the state of Indiana.
