Green Bay, Wisconsin-If you're a Packers fan hoping that the NFL would somehow make the ending of Monday's game disappear forget about it. The league ruled Tuesday that the final play stands as called and the final outcome stands.
Packers fans spent Monday venting. More than 70,000 voice mails were left at the NFL offices. some fans held signs and protested in front of Lambeau Field Tuesday morning. One sign read 'We Got Robbed.'
Some fans say they'll boycott future games until something is done about the officiating.
"The end of the game was a ridiculous call I thought," said one fan outside Lambeau Field. "It's cost the NFL a game now and that could change the playoffs."
"The new refs that we do have have no idea what they're doing, and they're screwing things up for not only us but the whole league," said another fan.
Sports talk radio stations in Wisconsin and around the country had no shortage of callers venting about the officials.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on his radio show on ESPN Milwaukee Tuesday that the games are getting out of control, and that the games lack 'appropriate officials.'
