NSTC Weekend Is Here 9/27/12

Rockford, Illinois-The best auto racing action in the Midwest will be taking place at the Rockford Speedway this weekend. The track will host it's year end National Short Track Championships.
Top short track racers from several states will be running all weekend. Local Late Model racers will go at it Friday evening along with Vintage cars and Sportsmen.
Saturday's main event will be the Big 8 Late Model feature. Sunday it wraps up with a 200 lap Super Late Model feature.
"It's some of the best racing you'll see anywhere in the country," says Rockford Speedway General Manager Gregg McKarns. "18 of the 43 starters in the Daytona 500 this year have raced here at Rockford, and a lot of them on this weekend. This is a prestigious event. In order to get into victory lane at Rockford you have to earn it."
