Rockford -- Police make three gun arrests in unrelated incidents overnight. The first happened at around 7pm Thursday evening when police received a 'man with a gun' call. A man fled into a home when they arrived at a home in the 1500 block of Birch Court. Officers entered and arrested 29-year-old Zacarie Brown for armed violence, burglary, aggravated use of a weapon, battery, resisting arrest and other charges. A handgun was also found inside the home.
At 11pm, officers were flagged down in the parking lot of a bar at 3500 Auburn St., where they were told a man had a gun.
