Sensata
Technologies employees who are set to lose their jobs by the start of the New
Year are not backing down. Today they invited the community out for a BBQ. Even if they're jobs can't be saved the group
wants to raise awareness about outsourcing.
Bainport
campers want the public to understand Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney's future
for the economy. The group also wants the public to gain knowledge on President
Obama's current policies.
Employee
Dot Turner who has spent 43 years with the manufacturing company says she's
sickened to see her job shipped overseas.
Turner
explains "I just feel that us as American people there is something that
we can do. There is power in numbers and I just feel that if we could all band
together as a nation and as people that we can do something to stop the
outsourcing of these jobs."
Employees will continue camping out until they get response from Romney. He currently owns the majority of shares in Sensata Technologies.
