Woman's purse stolen at Rockford Walgreens; Granddaughter pushes Robber to Ground

A female victim,54, her 14 year old granddaughter and an adult friend were leaving the Walgreens on Kishwaukee when a man outside the store grabbed the victim's purse. The victim would not let go of her purse. The robber dragged the victim on the ground causing scrapes to her knees and elbows.

The supect got away with the purse, but not without resistance from the victim's granddaughter. The 14 year old girl pushed the robber to the ground. Two men outside helped the victim, meanwhile the suspect got away with the purse.

Rockford police located Juan Eusebio of Rockford. Eusebio is charged with Strong Arm Robbery, Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.
