Loves Park Man Arrested For Kidnapping, Sexual Assault

Loves Park - A local man is behind bars, accused of kidnapping a woman, putting a gun to her head, and sexually assaulting her.
Police say Anthony Purifoy, 34, broke into the victim's home early Saturday morning. He then took her to his house in the 4400 block of Kingsberry Drive. Purifoy is charged with kidnapping and agg. criminal sexual assault.
Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
