The Rockford Icemen win their season opener 5-1 over Barrington
The Icemen didn't finish their last season the way they were hoping to, but they started this one off as well as they could have hoped.
After winning 15 consecutive state championships, the Icemen lost in overtime of the state semi-finals last season. But they look poised to contend for another state title in 2012-13.
