Sectional Golf 10/8/12

Rockford, Illinois-Two local boys golf teams are headed to State. Byron finished second and Aquin took third in the Class 1A Elgin Westminster Christian Sectional Monday. The top three teams in each Sectional earned trips to State this weekend.
In Class 2A Belvidere North finished seventh and Freeport a disappointing 12th at the Belvidere North Sectional at Timber Pointe. Neither team had an individual golfer advance to State either.
In Class 3A it was also a disappointing day for Hononegah and Boylan at Barrington. Hononegah finished ninth and Boylan 11th. Neither team had any individual golfers qualify for State either.
