Rockford Police Arrest Suspected Heroin Dealer

ROCKFORD-Rockford police have arrested a man suspected of selling heroin at various locations around the city. A tip to the city's Narcotics Unit led to the arrest of 28-year-old Christopher Owens, who was reportedly found with several grams of heroin on him as well as cash.
Owens is charged with unlawful delivery of heroin and dealing heroin within 1000 feet of a church. He is being held in the Winnebago County Jail on $500,000 bond.
