Rockford Man In Custody After Stabbing Huntley Taxi Driver

Christopher L. Mackey, 31, of 1306 N. Horace Ave. in Rockford was taken into custody Thursday at 8:00 P.M. by Rockford Police. He's since been turned over to the Huntley Police Department for additional interviews.
The investigation revealed that pens were used as a weapon in the stabbing. Mackey is charged with Vehicular Hijacking, Robbery and Aggravated Battery. He's being transported to the Kane County Jail to await a bond hearing.
