Illini Club Celebration 10/16/12

The Rockford Area Illini Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Tuesday, October 30th at Franchesco's Ristorante.

Loren Taylor, President of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and Dan Hartleb, Head Baseball Coach at the University of Illinois, will be the keynote guests. Also attending from the University of Illinois will be Mike Bellamy, Director of Football Operations.

Social hour starts at 5:30, a plated dinner at 6:30, and a program at 7:15. 

A silent auction will be held with numerous Illini items, which includes: an original portrait of Chief Illiniwek, a golf package with a Rockford Park District season golf pass and a Chief Illiniwek golf bag, and a basketball package with tickets and an overnight stay in a condo in Champaign.

Live music will be provided during the social hour and dinner by Harlan Jefferson, acclaimed saxophonist and East High School graduate. Cost is $50 per person.
