Radiothon For The Rockford Rescue Mission

Rockford - Our radio partner, Q98.5, teams up with the Rockford Rescue Mission to provide help to those who need it.
The two hosted their first Radiothon all day to raise money to help feed the area's hungry. The Rescue Mission hopes to raise at least $20,000. Right now, they have enough money for 10,000 meals. "Sometimes the meal is the first step to having a restore and recover in their lives" says Reid Tennant, Special Events Coordinator for the Rescue Mission. "We're just very happy to be an instrument for that to occur for people in our community."
