Rockford, Illinois-The IceHogs don't have much to show for their first weekend of action. They're still looking for their first win.
They went back to work Tuesday morning at the BMO trying to fine-tune things after dropping two games in Chicago Saturday and Sunday. Although they picked up a point for the shootout loss Saturday to the Wolves.
The guys don't seem at all concerned at how their season has started.
"I don't think it's a slow start at all," says winger Jeremy Morin. "We've just got to figure out how we're going to be as a team and what the identity of our team is going to be. I think we're still trying to figure it out. We've got a lot of skilled guys. We've just got to fill in our roles and we're fine."
"It's a long season," said head coach Ted Dent. "We've just got to shore up some areas in our game and be ready for this weekend."
The IceHogs will play three games this weekend. They'll play in Peoria Friday night. They'll play home games Saturday night and Sunday evening against the Charlotte Checkers.
