Last night the Ogle County Board vote unanimously to pass a
resolution to put an option for concealed carry on next years consolidated
ballot. Board members say a large contingent of Ogle county residents are in favor of concealed carry and if given the
option the law would pass. County board chairman Jim Barnes said that "the
other 49 states cant have it wrong" and he believes the crime rate will go down
if concealed carry is enacted.
