The Chicago Rockford International Airport reported that September was a record setting month for passenger traffic, serving over 13,000 passengers.
When comparing that number to September 2011, traffic has grown 52 percent. The RFD Director, Mike Dunn, attributes that increase to their new service to Denver and strong traffic to Tampa.
The previous record was set is 2005 when RFD transported 12, 190 passengers.
