IceHogs Busy Weekend 10/18/12

Rockford, Illinois-The IceHogs are looking forward to playing their first home games of the season this weekend. They'll host the Charlotte Checkers Saturday night at 7pm and again Sunday at 5pm.
But first they have one more road game Friday night at Peoria. The Hogs would love to put that one in the win column. They don't want to show up at the BMO Saturday with an 0-3 record.
So what have the guys been working on this week in practice?
"There are a few things we need to work on supporting the puck through the neutral zone," says IceHogs coach Ted Dent. "We turned the puck over quite a bit in Chicago. That resulted in us playing in our end a lot more than we needed to, so that's one area we need to get better at here."
