Rockford, Illinois-The high school football regular season wraps up Friday night.  There are several key games to keep an eye on.

In Freeport two undefeated teams will go head-to-head when 8-0 Stockton takes on 8-0 Aquin. They're the top two ranked teams in the State in Class 1A.

Another game that will stand out is Auburn at Boylan.  It'll mark the return of Dan Appino to Boylan.

Several teams are on the playoff bubble and will be looking for that all-important 5th win that will make them eligible for the playoffs.  They are Belvidere, Dakota, AFC and Harvard.

Belvidere will play at Belvidere North.  Dakota will host Lena-Winslow.  AFC will play at Milledgeville. And Harvard will play at Richmond-Burton.

Teams with five wins that will look to erase any doubt about making the playoffs will be Auburn, Stillman Valley, Rochelle, and Sycamore.

Auburn, as mentioned previously, will play at Boylan. Stillman Valley will host Winnebago.  Rochelle will host DeKalb. Sycamore will host Yorkville.

The Big Northern West Championship will be up for grabs.  Lutheran has already earned a share of the title at 5-1. The Crusaders will host Rockford Christian in a non-conference game.  Winnebago can also clinch a share of the championship by winning at Stillman Valley. Byron can clinch a share of the title by winning at home against Mendota.
