Pilgrim
Baptist Church's Reverend Dr. Kenneth Board gathered media near the intersection of Rockford's S. Central Ave. and Michigan. Rev. Board shared the thoughts of the Bell family.

Rockford NAACP Chapter President Lloyd Johnston and Pilgrim Baptist Church Deacon Oliver Emerson were also in attendance.

The Bell family states that mental illness should not be confused with criminality. They mention Logan was only a danger to himself and believe Rockford Police exercised improper use of force.

Rev. Board says "the autopsy will help us to see if what has been stated is truth. We're seeking truth, we're seeking justice and we're seeking reconciliation."

Winnebago County Coroner's Office reports the autopsy is finished, but the autopsy report is not completed. Details cannot be released until the report is complete, the County Coroner's Office states that could take up to 12 weeks.
