Stateline Eagle Scout shares story of Sex Abuse

Thousands of secret Boy Scout documents were made public Thursday. The files identify scout leaders and volunteers who were banned from the organization over a 20 year time period.

says he was a member of a Boy Scout troop based in
Wesseling states "this is disgusting and unthinkable. Over thirty years of my life I have been living in pain, shame and humiliation."
Wesseling explains "I believe this gentleman, this monster actually, who I was associated with I believe it's well known in the area with the Boy Scouts what he did do." Wesseling now lives out of state.
Boy Scouts of America PR Representative Deron Smith advises anyone who wants to report abuse should call their local council or the national office at (972) 580-2000.
Boy Scouts of America has a process in place called Youth Protection. It's dedicated to preventing sexual abuse of troop members.
