Domestic Violence Rises in Rockford

The number of domestic violence occurrences is on the rise in the Stateline and some are fearful that it may lead to tragedy like Sundays shooting in Milwaukee. Police say they are doing all they can to help bring the number of occurrences down, but are slightly handcuffed with primarily only being able to respond after the fact. Activists for domestic abuse say the key is for entire communities to get involved with prevention efforts.
