DeKalb - The eight Northern Illinois University employees accused of selling the school's scrap metal and pocketing the money are put on administrative leave.

They will be paid while police investigate.  The DeKalb County State's Attorney filed felony charges against the workers, as well as a ninth suspect who no longer works for the university.

Police believe the group stole more than $10,000 dating back to 2005.
