KNIB Breakfast Fundraiser

Rockford - A local organization striving to keep the Stateline an eco-friendly place to live needs your help.
Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful held a fundraiser this morning at the Mauhnahteesee Country Club. They treated people to a hot breakfast. During which KNIB gave a presentation on its programs and how they positively affect residents.
The organization's Exec. Director says she hopes people heard their plea. "A lot of times, grants or sponsorships are very specific to different types of projects" says Lori Gummow. "We do the medication drive or Christmas tree recycling, but we need annual fund to help support the day-to-day operations of the organization."
