Church Sets Out to Prove "Love Works"

The Rockford First Church is setting out to prove Love Works. This week marks "Love Week" in which members of the congregation will be donating 10,000 hours of community service. Over 37 businesses in the community are partnering with the church, however the community service commitment also applies to what the church is calling "strategic acts of kindness" towards the entire Rockford community. Spiritual Development Pastor of Rockford first church Taka Iguchi says the church has largely embrace the idea of "giving onto others" and is close to reaching their 10,000 hour mark.
