Giants Win World Series 10/28/12

Detroit, Michigan-For the second time in three years the San Francisco Giants are World Series Champions.
The Giants beat the Tigers 4-3 in ten innings Sunday night to complete the sweep.
Ex-Cub Ryan Theriot led off the tenth inning with a single for the Giants. He later scored on a single by Marco Scutaro.
Relief pitcher Sergio Romo struck out the side in the bottom of the 10th to close it out. He got Tigers triple crown winner Migual Cabrera for the final out on a called third strike.
Pablo Sandoval was named the Series MVP. He had 8 hits in 16 at bats including three homers in game one.
