Champaign, Illinois-The Fighting Illini's losing streak is wearing thin on head coach Tim Beckman...literally.
Beckman was asked at his press conference how he's holding up. "I've lost 22 pounds," he said. His temper then began to bubble up with the reporter who asked the question. "You think I like losing? I haven't been around it. No, I hate it. So we just continue to go, pushing forward. I've learned a lot, but no I don't like losing. I hate it!"
The Illini have lost five straight games including a loss last Saturday to perennial Big Ten doormat Indiana.
Odds are against the Illini snapping their streak this Saturday. They'll play at undefeated Ohio State.
