Current Landfill Issues To Be Discussed At Tonight's Meeting

There will be a public meeting to discuss current landfill issues at 7:00 P.M. tonight.  The meeting will be held at the New Milford Fire Station Community Room, 2177 Will James Road, New Milford.

This is a general informational meeting requested by local residents.  Paul Gorski, former Winnebago County Board member and candidate to represent County Board District 11, will moderate the discussion. 

The discussion will include updates on the lawsuit challenging the landfill expansion, the current frequency and strength of landfill odors.  Discussion will also include naming contacts for reporting air, water and traffic concerns and the Winnebago Landfill releasing water into Kilbuck Creek.
