RVC Hoops Preview 10/30/12

Rockford, Illinos-The Rock Valley College men's basketball team will tip-off its season Thursday evening against McHenry County College.
Brandon Schwebke of Belvidere North will be one of the leaders on this team. He's one of several local guys on the roster.
The Golden Eagles have a new head coach this season Craig Doty. He says he'll play all 12 guys because he wants an up-tempo attack.
"We want to push, push, push," says Doty. "Offensively we're looking to attack and defensively we're going to be aggressive in the pasing lanes and trying to create offense off of that aggressive nature."
"We are extremely balanced. We're looking at playing everybody who's eligible on the roster."
Doty's assistant is former Boylan coach Steve Goers.
"Coach Goers brings 43 years of experience to the table," says Doty. "He's been nothing but a great asset for this program so far, and he's jumped right in recruiting in the NIC-10. I'm very excited about having him on my staff and partnering with him."
