Update: Officers Shoot A Man Dead After He Reportedly Threatens Them With Knife

Police are on the scene of a shooting involving an officer at 1811 Montague Rd.
A 31 year old victim charged police with a knife in his own
home and has been shot dead by officers around 6:00 A.M.
The man, holding a knife, allegedly grabbed a child to use as a human shield when police came to the door. Police proceeded to pepper spray the man causing him to drop the child. After wiping the spray off of his face, the man blindly charged the officers with his knife. It was at this point that officers opened fire on the victim, shooting him dead.
