Nail, Needle Found In Children's Halloween Bags

Loves Park police has reported a second incident in which a sharp object was found in a child's Halloween candy bag.  This time a nail was reported to have been found.

Earlier, Loves Park police went to an home on Louden Dr. to investigate an incident in which a needle was found in a child's trick-or-treat bag.

This area is located near Forest Hills Rd. and Hwy 173 and the investigation is ongoing. 

Police encourage anyone who finds foreign objects inside of any Halloween candy to contact them immediately at (815) 282-2600.  Also, the Loves Park Police encourages all Halloween candy to be inspected by an adult prior to being consumed.
