Rockford, Illinois-It'll likely be brother against brother Wednesday night when the IceHogs host the Peoria Rivermen. The Hogs' Kyle Beach could go up against his younger brother Cody who now plays for Peoria.

Cody was just called up by the Rivermen last week. In his first game last Thursday in Charlotte he got into a fight, and he was suspended for two games for landing a check to the head of one of the Checkers.

He has already served his suspension. Like Kyle, Cody is a winger and a battler who tends to get under his opponents' skin. But there is one difference between the brothers.

"He's 6'5 or 6'6. It's a little different. He plays the same type of gritty game," says Kyle to WTVO. "He's a good disher. I don't want to give him too much credit, but he'll come in here and make it known he's in the lineup."

When Kyle was asked if he was surprised by his brother's quick suspension he said, "Yes and no. When he hits he hits hard. I guess it was bad luck. I've seen the hit. The guy had his head down. It think it was the case of a bigger body against a smaller guy. Unfortunately that's the way it worked out. Whether he was suspended or not he made an impression."
