Car Crash Leaves Downed Wires

Rockford, Illinois-Shortly before 3 o'clock this morning, medical personnel responded to the area of N. Bell School Rd & Livingston Dr. for reports of a car accident. A vehicle had struck a pole and there were downed wires. The occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene.
Traffic is going to be detoured for the next several hours. Nearly 850 customers were left without power.

According to ComEd's outage map, all power has been restored.
