Belvidere Burger King "A Total Loss" After Fire

Flames errupted just after six Tuesday evening. Ten different fire departments were called in to help battle the blaze. Partons and employees were inside when the fire started, but, we're told everyone is safe and unharmed.

Firefighters on scene say this was not an easy battle.

"We found one hydrant that wasn't working and the water pressure in this area isn't as strong as we'd like it to be" said Belvidere Fire Department Chief David Worrell, "But, we made it work."

Firefighters say the fire started in an exhaust vent, but they're still investigating exactly how it got started.
