General Assembly To Go Home Early

Springfield - The General Assembly is cutting its session short.
They will not meet Thursday, so tomorrow is the last day. It's an indication there's no consensus on major legislative issues like the state pension system or gambling expansion.
Those issues will likely be addressed in January before a new General Assembly is sworn in.
