Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R) is going back to work.
In an interview with the Daily Herald, the junior senator says he will climb the steps of the U.S. Capitol tomorrow, where he'll be met by Vice President Joe Biden (D).
Kirk suffered a massive stroke last January, limiting the use of the left side of his body and speech. But, he says the incident gave him a new sense of purpose and he vows to "never, ever give up." He's been busy though. He campaigned for republicans leading up to the November election. He also briefly returned to his office in D.C. last month.
